🎋 Slippery elm bark was used by Native Americans to soothe irritated and inflamed skin, heal wounds, and treat cough and sore throats.
🎋 Slippery elm is now most commonly used to increase gastrointestinal mucous secretion and protect the stomach and small intestine in cases of dyspepsia, gastritis, gastric reflux, peptic ulcers and gastrointestinal inflammation.
