🍃 Wormwood also known as annual mugwort, has been used throughout the ages for fevers and the treatment and prevention of malaria, coughs and colds.

🍃 Traditional preparation involved soaking the fresh whole plant in water overnight, then wringing it out, and ingesting the strained liquid.

🍃 The discovery of the anti-malarial compound artemisinin from wormwood resulted in the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine
